Student Collection Procedures

These procedures explain how children should be collected from Almansour Academy so that the end of every session is safe, organised, and clear for families and staff.

1. Authorised collection only

Students may only leave with a parent, guardian, or another adult authorised by the parent or guardian. If collection arrangements change, families should inform the academy in advance whenever possible.

2. Verification where needed

Staff may ask for confirmation or photo identification if the person collecting a child is not known to the team or if arrangements appear different from the academy's records.

3. Early collection

If a student needs to leave before the end of the session, the parent or authorised adult should notify staff directly so the student can be released safely and recorded appropriately.

4. Late collection

Parents and carers should collect students promptly at the published finish time. If a delay is unavoidable, the academy should be contacted as soon as possible so staff can support the child appropriately.

5. Safeguarding concerns

If staff have a safeguarding concern at collection time, or if an unauthorised person attempts collection, the academy will follow its safeguarding procedures and may refuse release until the situation is safely resolved.

6. Keeping information up to date

Families are responsible for keeping emergency contacts, authorised collection adults, and phone numbers current so that we can act quickly and safely whenever needed.

If you need to discuss collection arrangements, please contact the academy directly.
